State Representative Rob Orr Endorses Roger Williams

By Roger Williams for Congress

AUSTIN, TEXAS—State Representative Rob Orr (R- Burleson) today endorsed conservative businessman Roger Williams for Congress, calling him the "best choice" for conservatives.

"I'm proud to endorse Roger," Rep. Orr said. "I've known Roger for many years and respect his conservative, pro-business approach to governing. He is exactly what we need in Congress: someone who knows how to build our economy, create jobs, reduce spending, cut taxes and stand up to the current administration's agenda. He is the best choice for the people of Congressional District 25."

Representative Orr represents District 58 in the Texas House of Representatives (Johnson and Bosque counties), which are included in CD 25.

Rep. Orr said Roger is a perfect fit for this district. "Roger's brand of conservatism is exactly what CD 25 needs. He believes, like the conservative voters of this district, in limited government, lower taxes, family values and Second Amendment rights."

"It is an honor to have Representative Rob Orr endorse our campaign," Roger said in accepting the endorsement. "This shows that we continue to gain strength and momentum. I'm excited he is joining the growing army of supporters we have put together representing conservative people from all over the district."

About Roger: Roger Williams was sworn in as Texas' 105th Secretary of State on February 8, 2005.
